Watch Conan O'Brien Explore The Sexy World of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Late night talk show host and comedian Conan O'Brien looked like he rather enjoyed his time getting hands-on with upcoming role-playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The video above shows O'Brien (regretfully) learning about the world of The Witcher, and is amused by the fact that Geralt carries chicken sandwiches and apple juice in the game. He also shows prominent interest in Witcher 3 character Yennefer.
GameSpot recently visited The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red's offices in Poland. Check out our coverage from the trip, which includes exclusive interviews with key developers and even more gameplay footage, among other things.
The Witcher 3 unlocks for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the United States on the evening of May 18. CD Projekt Red recently released a new trailer titled "Rage & Steel" that highlights the game's combat, environments, and beasts.

Conan O'Brien has featured many games on his Clueless Gamer segment, including Mortal Kombat X, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Assassin's Creed Unity, and World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.

Watch a Cheater's Character Stripped, Deleted by Guild Wars 2 Dev

Cheating in online games can get you banned--we all know that. Worse yet, it might get you (or your characters) humiliated, at least if the game is Guild Wars 2.

A thread (via Massively Overpowered) on the game's official forums recently popped up where players complained about a certain cheater, who appeared to be using hacks in-game. Worse yet, this character hadn't done so to simply get extra money or items they hadn't earned, but to use exploits in the game's competitive multiplayer mode. One person even provided video evidence of the cheater in question.

The discussion went without an official response for the better part of two weeks, but I dare say it was worth the wait. Game security lead Chris Cleary addressed the matter this week, writing, "We don't need to see it in-game, sometimes good video evidence is enough for me to track down who it was. In this case, the video was enough for me to find out who it was and take action. Thanks for the video, and to accompany your video, I give you this video of his account's last moments."

His post linked to the video above, which shows Cleary (or someone else at ArenaNet) logging into the cheater's account, stripping a character of his gear, and then jumping to his death in the middle of Divinity's Reach, a major city in the game. They then log out and proceed to delete the character, as well as one another.

Cleary added: "Oh yah, he's also banned."

1080p Payday 2 Xbox One/PS4 Release Date Announced

505 Games and Overkill Software on Thursday announced that Payday 2: Crimewave Edition, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of the heist-themed shooter, will arrive on June 16.
The new version of Payday 2 comes with more than two dozen DLC packs, including the Big Bank Heist, as well as the game's first female character, Clover. The Crimewave Edition also features enhanced visuals (compared to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, at least), including improved frame rate, better textures, and 1080p resolution.

The Crimewave Edition also has new heists featuring characters voiced by Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito and Mira Furlan of Lost fame, who plays a character named The Butcher. The game also packs in more weapons, including shotguns, sniper rifles, and grenades, among others.

505 Games has also announced preorder bonuses for the Crimewave Edition. Anyone who preorders (digital or physical) will receive access to the Hard Time Loot Bag. This comes with the following in-game content:

• Red dot weapon sight modification available for use on all rifle weapons
• Exclusive Skull mask
• PlayStation 4- or Xbox One-exclusive mask
• Unique mask pattern titled "I LOVE OVERKILL"
• Unique color pattern, only available with this unlock
• Bundle of in-game cash

Play Magicka 2 Sneak Peek Right Now If You Preorder

Can't wait to get your hands on Magicka 2? If you're planning on buying the game as soon as it comes out, you can preorder it today to start playing right now.

"Knowing that Magicka 2 players will need to acclimatize themselves to the rampant, sociopathic team-killing of their fellow Wizards, Paradox is providing fans who preorder the game with a preview version of the game, along with previews for three friends," publisher Paradox Interactive said.

All preorders on PC and PlayStation 4 will let four players into the Sneak Peek, which started yesterday and will last through May 10.

The Sneak Peek includes the prologue, in which you'll learn how to use spells, the first mission of the campaign, and "The Festival," a challenge level in which the wizards compete for a high score by killing monsters.

Magicka 2 will release on PC and PS4 on May 26.

Watch Today's Destiny Prison of Elders Livetsream Right Here

Bungie will share the first details on Destiny's new co-op arena activity Prison of Elders today during a livestream event on Twitch. The show starts at 11 AM PDT / 2 PM EDT, and you can watch the entire event right here through the video embed below.

Hosting the livetsream will be Bungie community manager David "Deej" Dague. Lead designer Matt Sammons and community member Professor Broman will also appear during the event.

Prison of Elders--included with Destiny's House of Wolves expansion--is a three-player co-op event where teams must work together to battle waves of increasingly challenging enemies. Successful teams will earn high-level legendary and exotic items. Players can enter Prison of Elders with their own fireteam or they can use Destiny's matchmaking system to find a team.

To hold you over until 11 AM PDT, Bungie has released a teaser video for Prison of Elders, which you can watch below. House of Wolves arrives for all platforms on May 19.

GTA 5 PC Mod Lets You Throw Cars Around With a Gravity Gun

Even with a lack of support from Rockstar--and official patches even temporarily breaking them--mods continue to pour in for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The latest mod of note is one that introduces a gravity gun to the open-world game.

Much the like the tool of the same name in Half-Life 2, the gravity gun allows you to pick up and fling objects throughout the world. Those objects can be everything from street signs to people to vehicles; in the latter case, they can be launched with enough force that they explode upon running into something.

The mod adds this functionality to the stun gun--unfortunately, it doesn't also include a model resembling Half-Life 2's weapon or anything of the sort. The E key is used to pick objects up, while hitting the fire button launches them.

Based on the videos showing off its use online (you can see one above), the mod looks to be a bit janky at times, but it still looks like great fun. You can download it here.

As noted above, a recent GTA V patch broke support for Script Hook V, which is used for enabling mods in the game (which offers no official support of any kind). Script Hook has fortunately already been updated to get it working again with GTA V, meaning players don't have to avoid updating in order to use mods.

Watch Wolfenstein: The Old Blood's Brutal Launch Trailer

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a standalone prequel to last year's Wolfenstein: The New Order, is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The mark the game's release, Bethesda has released a launch trailer that sets up the story and introduces some of the new elements, such as the brutal pipe weapon.

The Old Blood is available now across digital channels for $20. A disc-based version will be available in Australia/New Zealand on May 14, followed by a boxed release in Europe on May 15.
The game comes with eight chapters spread across two main campaigns: Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves and The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs You play as BJ Blazkowicz in the year 1946 as the Nazis are on the verge of securing victory in World War II. In the first chapter, you break into Castle Wolfenstein in an effort to steal the coordinates to General Deathshead's compound.
In the second, you follow the coordinates to the city of Wulfburg "where an obsessed Nazi archaeologist is exhuming mysterious artefacts that threaten to unleash a dark and ancient power."
Overall, developer MachineGames is aiming to achieve a "pulp B-movie vibe" for The Old Blood.
